<p>A water-sol. addn. prod., which can be applied by electrical deposition, is prepd. by (a) dissolving not 1 solid polycycloalkadiene with ball-and-ring m. pt. 70-100 degrees C and mol. wt. 700-800, in not 1 liquid polyalkadiene with mol. wt. 500-5000, (b) cooling this mixt. and keeping it at a constant temp., and (c) adding not 1 unsatd. polycarboxylic acid (anhydride). The obtd. coating is stable to oxidn., is reproducible and of improved quality.</p> |
