<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful for forming a light-shielding thin film of a color filter of a liquid crystal display element, image-pickup device, etc., by incorporating a light-shielding material and a polymer material consisting of a specific photosetting resin. SOLUTION: This composition giving a coating film having excellent flatness, smoothness, adhesivity to a substrate and an over-coat layer (protecting film), heat-resistance, waterresistance, moisture resistance, alkali resistance, solvent resistance, liquid crystal resistance, etc., is produced by compounding a light- shielding material such as carbon black, titanium black, metal oxide, metal sulfide or organic pigment and a photosetting resin having a double bond content of 1-5mol/kg resin and produced by reacting an epoxy resin having a polyalkylene oxide chain in the molecule with anα,β-ethylenic unsaturated acid. The weight ratio of the light-shielding material to the photosetting resin is (90-30):(10-70).</p> |
