PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable garbage to be efficiently heated from below it with discharged heat outputted from a deodoring device and further eliminate a cooling fan as well as a heat insulating material in an outer container so as to reduce production cost. SOLUTION: This processing machine is comprised of a drying chamber 1 including a processing container 4 into which garbage G is fed and an outer container 5 for storing the processing container 4; an air blowing mechanism 2 for blowing hot air into the drying chamber 1; and a deodoring device 3 having a catalyst 6 and a catalyst heating heater 7 for deodoring odor substances of the odor gas contained in the garbage G. In this case, a clearance 9 is formed between the processing container 4 and the outer container 5, the deodoring device 3 communicates with the clearance 9 through a catalyst discharging pipe 8 and then the discharged gas from the deodoring device 3 can be circulated at the clearance 9.
