PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide specific charging/discharging efficiency and a good cycle characteristic by providing a negative electrode made of a carbonaceous material, a positive electrode made of a lithium-containing composite oxide, and an electrolyte containing lithium salt. SOLUTION: A carbon material serving as a negative electrode active material is dispersed in a solvent together with a binder, and this dispersion liquid is applied on the surface of a conductor. It is dried and pressurized to form a negative electrode active material layer on the surface of the conductor for use as a negative electrode. A lithium-containing composite oxide and a conductive inorganic material are dispersed in the binder to form an active material layer, and the active material layer is covered on the surface of the conductor to form a positive electrode. When lithium nickelate is used as the positive electrode active material, the mixed solvent of cyclic carbonate and chain-like carbonate is used for the solvent of a nonaqueous electrolyte, the charging/ discharging efficiency of the first cycle is suppressed to 50-70%, and the deterioration of the discharge capacity can be reduced. |
