Exposure of paper images on light-sensitive APS photographic paper path

A process for exposing paper images on a light-sensitive photographic paper strip or band (7) has a first exposure sweep for single pictures whereby with the existence of pictures to be inserted afterwards, an 'empty transport' and a marking on the photographic paper path of part regions unexposed by the 'empty transport' is carried out. A second sweep exposes the unexposed marked part regions with the pictures to be inserted afterwards. An end-of-picture marking is made on the photographic paper strip. The markings are holes and lines. The pictures to be added afterwards are adverts, all of the same size. The pictures deviating from the format are index pictures. In the first sweep, exposed pictures are stored electronically.
