<p>The sensor has a basic plastic housing (10)arranged inside a protective cover (11). This has a recess which contains a first and second electric element (12,13) for connection to an external switch circuit e.g. a magnetic switch. The protective cover (11) extends along the longitudinal axis and is sealingly connected with the housing (10). The magnetic switch is actuated by a permanent magnet (20) which is built into a float (17) fastened to the protective cover (11). The electric connection elements (12,13) are in the form of flat coplanar laminates which extend axially by different lengths. Each connector element has a shaped end arranged for connection to the respective terminals of the magnetic switch of the sensor. The protective cover (11) has an internal recess for the magnetic switch. The recess is defined by guide and locating surfaces which extend coplanar with the sides of the switch recess.</p> |
