PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily input information at the time of inputting information such as a destination by calculating a distance from a current position up to a stored administrative division, and in the case of displaying administrative division names as an information input picture, displaying the names in the ascending order of distances up to the calculated administrative division. SOLUTION: A navigation processing part 11 acquires the positional information of a current position from an output of a current position detecting part 13 during the period of selection of a destination division by a user, successively reads out the coordinate data of respective prefectural goverment from destination data 125 stored in a data storage part 12, calculates distances from the current position, and stores the calculated distances and prefecture names in a RAM 113. The prefecture names are sorted in the ascending order of distances from the current position. Then prefecture names are displayed in the ascending order of distances from the current position by successively reading out the prefecture names in the order of storage and displaying the read names on a display screen. Consequently the necessity of scrolling pictures for selecting an objective prefecture name is reduced. |
