PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash a battery assembly after injection and sealing with a high efficiency by washing the battery assembly within a prescribed time after electrolyte injecting process. SOLUTION: A washing device 5 has two rotating tables 11, and a holder jig 12 is arranged on the peripheral part of each table 11. The conveyor connecting part of the table 11 has a handling device, whereby a battery assembly 8A is transferred from a conveyor 6 to the holder jig 12 of the table 11, and also transferred from the jig 12 to the conveyor 6. A washing nozzle unit 20 is provided near one table 11 to inject a proper quantity of washing water to the assembly 8A on the table 11. A drying air blow nozzle unit 30 is provided near the other table 11 to inject drying air to the assembly 8A on the table 11. The washing process is executed within 24 hours after electrolyte injecting process. |
