PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the measurement time and improve the transmissivity and fatigue resisting strength by providing a protrusion part with a specified height comprising a conducting material on a surface of a sensor comprising a plate-shaped metal member contact with an object to be measured. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusion parts 2 are formed on a surface of a stress sensor comprising a plate-shaped member 1 made of carbon steel in contact with an object to be measured. The protrusion parts 2 is made at a height D 1μm-500μm while the tips 12 thereof are made as curve surfaces with the radius R of curvature of 0.1 to 10mm and are formed at an equal interval near the periphery of the contact surface 11. A room temperature hardening liquid epoxy resin is applied on the contact surface 11 having the protrusion parts 2, pressed onto a bridge pier part or the like to extrude an excess of the epoxy resin and an electrode is placed thereon from the rear of the contact surface 11 to be fixed on the bridge pier part or the like by a discharge spot welding. With such an arrangement, the application of advantages of a discharge spot welding method and an adhesive method achieves a shorter-time use and a shortening of construction term. The excellence in the fatigue strength enables long-term use.
