PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wool-like fabric containing polyester fibers which has reduced contact points between fibers inside the fabric, can increase microgaps and microspaces, develops warm feeling and slippery feeling and gives fabric having swell feeling, elasticity, proper stiffness and tension. SOLUTION: This fabric is constituted with polyester fiber yarns and the yarn fibers constituting the fabric has irregular variation in thickness in the longitudinal direction and the fabric contains microspace structure inside with reduced contact points between yarn fibers. This fabric is coated with a high- viscosity solution containing a fiber-decomposing or dissolving solution on at least one surface and treated with heat to give the objective fabric whose cross section is partially reduced in a tapered form. |
