<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the display device which can decrease the number of processes and is low-cost, large in aperture rate, and improved in display quality. SOLUTION: This matrix substrate is equipped with an insulating glass substrate 1, scanning lines and signal lines 10 which are wired thereupon in a grating shape, TFTs 100 which are connected electrically to them, an inter-layer insulating film 13 which is formed over them, and pixel electrodes 15 which are connected electrically to the drain electrodes 12 of the TFTs 100 on the inter-layer insulating film 13 through contact holes. In this case, the contact layers 9 and drain electrodes 12 of the TFTs 100 are formed of semiconductor thin films formed of the same light-transmissive material.</p> |
