PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body protecting material for manufacturing a human body protecting clothing which withstands a strong bullet weight and a piercing of a sharp cutlery, fits a curved surface of the human body, has a high degree of freedom with respect to the human body, follows the movement of the human body, is light-weighted and can readily be put on. SOLUTION: This human body protecting material is constructed as follows. A small piece plate 3 is formed by arranging a plurality of circular pipes 1 in parallel, wherein each circular pipe 1 has a diameter of approximately 5mm and a thickness of 1mm, and is made of metal such as Ti alloy or Al alloy or a synthetic resin in which metal fibers are impregnated. A multiplicity of these small piece plates 3 are arranged in a desired manner and have their front and rear surfaces covered by clothing 4, 4' made of high-strength fibers at least in one layer respectively. Gaps 5 defined between the small piece plates 3 are stitched up by means of metallic threads 6 or threads made of high- strength fibers. |
