PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the electric destruction of a PC card by stopping the output of respective signals from an equipment side connecting means when an interface control means discriminates the inverse connecting state of connecting the PC card to information processing equipment while inverting front and rear sides. SOLUTION: A card side connector 5 inverting the front and rear sides of a PC card 2 is inversely connected to an equipment connector 6 of the information processing equipment and in such a case, a connecting state discriminating part 8 discriminates the inverse connection of the PC card 2 to the information processing equipment and outputs that discrimination to an interface control part 10. According to the decision showing the inverse connection of the PC card 2 to the information processing equipment from the connecting state deciding part 8, that interface control part 10 turns off a switch 7 and stops all the output signals from the equipment side connector 6. Thus, the PC card can be surely prevented from being electrically destroyed by inverse connection. |
