<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly center a gasket whose outside diameter has a reference dimension. SOLUTION: A gasket 6 whose outside diameter is a reference dimension R smaller than the diameter of the inscribing circle of a bolt 5, is sandwiched between the flanges 3 of two pipings 1. Ringlike centering plates 7 are fitted to and arranged in positions between the flanges 3 of at least three bolts 5 in a circumferential direction, out of bolts 5 inserted to and passed through bolts holes 4 in the peripheral parts of the flanges 3. The centering plates 7 are formed thinner than the gasket 6 and sandwiched on the inner sides of the inscribing circles of the bolts 5, and the peripheral surfaces of the centering plates 7 are brought in contact with the peripheral surface of the gasket 6, then the gasket 6 is centered in a concentric position with a pipe axial center O.</p> |
