<p>This invention provides masking means which facilitate the painting of vehicle tyres and rims. A tyre mask assembly (30) has a masking panel terminating at opposite sides in part-circular arcs (32, 33) of substantially the same diameter corresponding to the diameter of the outer edge of a respective wheel rim. One arc forms a convex edge to the masking panel (30) and the other arc forms a concave edge to the masking panel (30). The opposite arcs form conforming masks for the rim for shielding the tyre and rim respectively. A spoke and/or hub mask (10) is also provided for painting the wheel rim.</p> |
