PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the densification of ink nozzles without raising the driving voltage of an ink jet head, in which the pressure of each ink chamber can be efficiently utilized at the time of generation of the pressure for delivering inkdrops and, at the same time, satellites are prevented from developing after the delivery of the inkdrops and, in addition, the mass of delivering inkdrops is variably controlled and electrostatic actuators are employed. SOLUTION: This ink jet head 1 has a portion 8a, the driving compliance of which is higher than that of the portion 8b, in a vibrating plate 8 composing some part of an ink chamber 5 and an opposite wall 91 opposing to the vibrating plate 8. At the development of the pressure for delivering inkdrops, the portion 8a having the higher driving compliance abuts against the opposite wall, resulting in turning into the state, the compliance of which is very low. After the delivery of the inkdrops, the higher driving compliance portion 8a separates from the opposite wall, resulting in turning into the state, the compliance of which is high and consequently absorbing the pressure of the ink chamber due to the vibration of an ink system. |
