<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rooting extension of a branch line narrower by supporting an electric pole with the branch line having smaller tension than usual. SOLUTION: In an electric pole supporting method, a branch line resisting to the tension of an overhead electric line is extended between the upper part of the electric pole and the ground at a preset mounting angle. On the opposite side of tension P on the electric pole 1, a preset length of arm 11 extended from the electric pole in approximate horizontal is provided, via which a branch line 2 is mounted on the electric pole.
