PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin which is less simulative for skin and can be easily formed. SOLUTION: This sanitary napkin has a liquid permeable upper surface sheet 2 to be in contact with skin, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3 not to be in contact with skin, and a liquid retaining absorbent 4 between the upper surface sheet 2 and the rear surface sheet 3. And a pair of three- dimensional guards 10 are formed on the right/left sides of the upper surface sheet 2 in the longitudinal direction. The three-dimensional guards 10 have elastic members 11, which are made of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer whose permanent strain is not highre than 50% and whose hysteresis ratio is not higher than 5.0.
