PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which improves the fine view on external appearance and also prevents dust, etc., from penetrating into an indoor machine to foul the inside by closing a blowoff grill roughly entirely at operation stoppage of air conditioning or the like by means of a louver. SOLUTION: An upper louver 21 is tilted so that the bottom (external face) may accord with the front of the opening of a blowoff grill 4 by the operation of a step motor, the tilting motion of this upper louver 21 is transmitted to a lower louver 22 through a coupling lever 24a, which rotates this lower louver 22 so that the bottom (external surface) may be roughly in horizontal direction into accord with the bottom of the opening of the blowoff grill 4, and also the end of the upper louver 21 and the tilted end of the front end of the lower louver 22 lie upon the other, that is, the front end of the bent of the lower louver 22 lies upon the bottom of the rear end of the upper louver 21. |
