PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a listener to feel a sense of spread sound without causing deterioration in the sound quality even in the case of a small circuit scale. SOLUTION: Two speakers 3, 4 arranged around a listener 13 are used, FIR filters 5, 6, 7, 8 are used to supply convolution operation to a stereo 2ch signal received from input terminals 1, 2 to conduct acoustic field enlargement and the sound quality deteriorated by the FIR filters 5, 6, 7, 8 is compensated by IIR filters (characteristic correction means) 16, 17. Through the constitution above, spread sound is provided without causing sound quality deterioration different from a conventional acoustic field enlargement device regardless of the small circuit scale and it is possible to provide an acoustic field with presence to the listener. |
