PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform revolution control with accuracy by supplying a drive source with a signal corresponding to a first pulse input signal when a first revolution control mode is selected, and a signal geared to the pulse signal generated by a pulse generator when a second revolution control mode is selected. SOLUTION: This controller has a drive source 20 which rotates a discordal storage medium having recorded a specified pattern, and a driver 300 which supplies a drive source 20 with a revolution control signal geared to a given pulse input signal. The driver 300 supplies the drive source 20 with such a revolution control signal that the revolutionary speed of the drive source 20 becomes constan corresponding to the first given pulse input signal when the first revolution control mode is selected, and supplies it with a revolution control signal geared to the pulse signal generated by a pulse generator 200 when the second revolution control mode is selected. Hereby, the accuracy in revolution control improves. |
