<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensate discharge device not causing the deposition of a metal ion on the surface of a condensate discharge hole. SOLUTION: A valve casing composed of an upper casing 1 and a lower casing 2 defines therein an inlet 4, a valve chest 3 and an outlet 5. A valve seat member 8 having a lead passage 7 therethrough is screwed on the lower casing 2. A temperature control element 10 for opening or closing the lead passage 7 is retained by a snap ring 20 above the valve seat member 8. The lead passage 7 is composed of a condensate discharge hole 21, an upstream orifice 22 of an open area smaller than that of the condensate discharge hole 21, and an orifice 23 of an open area smaller than that of the upstream orifice 22. A roller member 25 is disposed through the orifice 23. The roller member 25 is at its upper part mounted on the upper end of the orifice 23 and at its lower part located below the orifice 23.</p> |
