Circuit arrangement for adjustment of parameter of electronic instrument, such as time relay, engine cut=out switch

The circuit arrangement consists of a potentiometer (8) with an adjustment scale (10), an A/D converter unit (16), and a calculation- and storage unit (18). The calculation- and storage unit (18) contains a memory area (20), in which an internal value table is stored. The individual values and/or value ranges of the value table are associated respectively with a scale value on the scale of the potentiometer. The calculation- and storage unit produces a signal at agreement of one of these values and/or value ranges with a scale value on scale of the potentiometer. The signal is supplied to a display device (14) which signals the sufficiently exact adjustment of the scale value.
