The proposal is for a piston-cylinder unit (14) for directly driven coilers (1) for winding rolled sheet metal into coils. A pressure medium source can supply the piston-cylinder unit (14) with pressure medium via rotary feeds (8) which are fitted on a shaft extension or a coiler shaft (4).
