The present invention relates to a combined on-screen display (OSD) character displaying OSD characters on a screen by using a character ROM. This circuit having a character ROM storing Han-geul fonts to be displayed via OSD function; a central processing unit producing a control signal, and a video RAM reading the characters to be displayed from the character ROM, and displaying them on a CRT, stores the Han-geul fonts in the character ROM by combination type and expresses one character by using two rows.
