Circular-saw blade comprising a discoid blade body with teeth formed on its rim, said teeth being provided with cutting surfaces or cutter bits (3), the blade body becoming thinner towards the rim in the radial direction. The edge zone (2), at least in the cutter bit (3) fixing area or equivalent, has been made substantially thicker than the peripheral thickness of the tapering zone preceding it in the radial direction. The invention also relates to a procedure for manufacturing a circular-saw blade.
