The work tool contains a number of folding tool parts (20) equal to the number of wings (3) and the spaces (4) in between them. At least one holder tool part (60) is also present, which is inserted along with the folding tool parts into the pump wheel (1) in an axial direction, so that at least one folding tool part is located in each space between two adjacent wings, and a holder tool part is present in at least part of the wheel. The folding tool parts can be rotated inside the pump wheel through a certain angle relative to the holder tool part(s) around the central axle of the wheel. When folding tool parts are rotated they press against one side of a wing, whilst at the same time the pump wheel is prevented from rotating by the holder tool part, causing the wings to fold.
