The invention concerns a method of stabilizing a foamed starting suspension material which contains the following constituents: a) inorganic sintering material; b) a propellant source; c) an agent which forms a ring structure when the pH of the starting suspension material is varied; d) a pH-control material; e) liquid; and f) optionally one or a plurality of the following: a dispersant; a binding agent; a viscosity-modifying agent. The pH of the starting suspension material is varied in order to start or accelerate the formation of the ring structure from the agent forming said structure.
