PURPOSE:To position the molds surely for enabling them to be clamped by moving a positioning member upward for fitting it to one part of the molds, and performing the positioning within the horizontal plane of the molds and die plate. CONSTITUTION:Tapered locate pins 44 are attached via a holder 46 on the top of a piston rod which is an output member of a clamping cylinder 16, and locate holes 45 corresponding to the locate pins 44 are formed on the bottom of each mold 5. When the molds 5 transported from the preceding process by a conveyor and pusher are mounted on a movable die plate 15, the movable plate 15 moves upward together with the molds 5, and the locate pins 44 and the locate holes 45 are fitted to each other with the result that the positioning of the movable die plate 15 and the molds 5 in the horizontal plane is conducted automatically, thus pressing, and then clamping, the molds 5 by the movable die plate 15 and a fixed die plate 13. |
