REDUNDANCY METHOD AND DEVCIE OF THE SECTOR INTERFACE CARD IN THE BASE STATION OF CDMA MOBILE SYSTEM

The present invention provides a duplexer of sector interface card (SIC) in base station equipment for CDMA mobile communications. The inventive method includes the steps of confirming whether or not important parts in an SIC perform normally by using a peak detector; transmitting an output of the peak detector detected to an error determining circuit; determining if an error occurs in the peak detector or within the SIC; if the error occurs in the SIC, cutting an output of the SIC currently operating by an output control circuit, and performing on behalf of the SIC. In this manner, the present invention can confirm if an error occurs in the SIC and perform operation without stopping the overall system via duplexing.
