摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptable inexpensive device by connecting a pulse generator to a non-rotating sensor formed of an optical encoder, and operating a device for measuring the relative rotating motion between both races of a bearing by the rotating race. SOLUTION: A measuring sensor formed of an optical encoder 12 is installed to an outside fixed race 10 on the outside opposite to a cord wheel 13 rotated together with an inside rotating race 11. The encoder 12 transmits a light to the wheel 13, and a photoelectric device receives the reflected light. The wheel 13 has a plurality of windows or zones reflecting no light in the inner part. According to its rotation, the zone interrupts the reflected light to generate the position information of the wheel 13. The encoder 12 works this information to a corresponding digital data, and transmits it to a remote data working unit through a cable. The quantity of pulse obtained per rotation can be increased by the application of the encoder 12, and the cost can be significantly reduced.
