PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor thermal recording material in which division of a red image being low temperature coloring and a black image being high temperature coloring is clear and texture fogging is little and whiteness is excellent. SOLUTION: In the multicolor thermal recording material, at least one kind of polymer substance selected from polyurea and polyurethane, composite fine particles consisting of at least one kind of black-based coloring dye precursor and at least one kind of blue-based or green-based coloring dye precursor, solid fine particles of red-based coloring dye precursor and a color developing compound which reacts with the above-mentioned dye precursors by heating to color them are incorporated in a thermal coloring layer provided on a supporting body. The red-based coloring dye precursor is colored by heating at low temperature. Furthermore, the black-based coloring and blue-based or green-based coloring dye precursors contained in the composite fine particles are colored by heating at a high temperature. |
