PURPOSE:To avoid the causes of defective discharge and nondischarge due to the mixing of bubbles by abutting a protruding section protruding so as to part the inwall surface of a liquid housing section from the inwall section against an absorber. CONSTITUTION:Ribs 4B, 10B are formed to a peripheral wall and a bottom in an ink tank 3 and the inside of a cover 10 crosswise as protruding sections, noses of which are pointed sharply. Since the noses of the ribs 4B, 10B are bitten to porous members 13, 14 under the state in which the porous members 13, 14 are sealed into the tank 3, transmission among the wall and the porous members together with ink of air and bubbles 31 in the tank 3 and intrusion to the ink discharge unit 2 side are prevented, thus obviating the damage of the discharge function of ink by bubbles 31. |
