The prefabricated panel comprises a long part (10) extending from one edge to the other parallel edge at the panel base. The base ends are each fixed to a web (7) of an L shaped piece whose other web (8) is parallel to the edge concerned to constitute a support for a bolt (11) which draws together two consecutive panels. On the panel internal face, along one of the vertical edges, is a sealing band (13) of sufficient width to be turned down and fixed on the adjacent panel. The panel lower edge also has a sealing band which is turned down and fixed on the tank bottom.
