Continuous process method for multicarrier signal

The method involves generating a reference transmission factor (Href) for a reference carrier (S'ref) of a multicarrier receiving signal (S') using a multiprocessor (10). Estimates of the transmission factor (H) which describes a transmission channel are determined for a desired carrier by filtering the reference transmission factor. The estimation is used to determine a desired signal (S) which is influenced by the transmission channel. The estimation involves filtering the reference transmission factor using a low pass unit (14,16) which acts in frequency direction. The output signal of the low pass unit is fed back to additionally low pass filter the difference transmission factor.
