Fire safety strut for building

The strut (1) comprises a tubular cladding (2) which contains a steel core (3,4,5,6). In the case of fire, these cores prop up the building. Other struts (1') above or below the strut have cores connected directly together. The core is formed from several parallel steel rods. These rods are preferably arranged symmetrically around the strut's central axis. They may be formed from round steel reinforced bars.
