<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve paper type flexibility allowing the use of post card and cardboard as transfer paper and to achieve miniaturization and improvement in operability for handling the transfer paper, in a color image forming device. SOLUTION: This device forms a color image by repeatedly transferring a toner image, formed on a photoreceptive belt 1, to an intermediate transfer belt 10, thereby superimposing the toner images to form a composite toner image, and by transferring it to transfer paper all at once from the surface of the intermediate transfer belt 10. The intermediate transfer belt 10 is stretched between turning rollers 11 and 12 at an angle, and the toner image on the photoreceptive belt 1 is transferred to the lower side of the inclined belt. Below the main body of the device is a paper feed cassette 17 and above it is a stack part. A carrying path from a carrying roller 19, via a resist roller 20 and a transfer roller 14, to a fixing device 49 is inclined almost parallel to the intermediate transfer belt 10. They are connected so that paper can be fed from a paper manually inserting unit 51 to the transfer paper carrying path.</p> |
