摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a resistance and stabilize a processing by installing a part for connecting an isotropic conductive body to the good conductive surface of an anisotropic conductive material and flowing a processing current easily from the anisotropic conductive material to the isotropic conductive body. SOLUTION: In an electric discharge machining device using an anisotropic conductive material on at least either one side of a tool electrode or a machining article, a part for connecting an isotropic conductive body 22 is provided on the good conductive surface 20 of the anisotropic conductive material 2. Further, the electric discharge is generated in the good conductive surface 20b of anisotropic conductive material 2. Further, a conductive adhesive 23 is used for combining of the anisotropic conductive material 2 with the isotropic conduct body 22. The anisotropic conductive material is a thermal decomposition carbon material, which is used as a tool electrode material. An non-combusible processing liquid like a pure water is used as a processing liquid. Further, a means for measuring the voltage during discharge, a means for setting a threshold value used for the discrimination of a normal discharge and an abnormal discharge and a means for stopping the supply of the processing current when a measured discharge voltage is large than the threshold value are provided.
