PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect vibration, without providing a special purpose means by detecting Coriolis force exerted on a vibration optical element, so as to obtain vibrational angular velocity applied to a lens barrel. SOLUTION: When the vibrational angular velocityΩp is applied, a rotary frame 11y has the Coriolis force in the vibrating direction of the frame 11y, for instance, in the direction of 19y with the direction of 112y (in an opposite direction at both ends in the direction of the axis 75p of the rotary frame 11y). Therefore, a photoreflector 12y can detect the vibration (synchronization with an exciting frequency) of the rotary frame 11y by the force. The output of the photoreflector 12y is inputted to a zone passage circuit 623 through a differential amplifier circuit 16. The zone passage circuit 623 allows the passage of an oscillation frequency (the oscillation frequency of the rotary frame 11y) and damps other things, to purely extract only the Coriolis force. When the output is detected by a synchronous detection means 624, angular velocity output can be obtained without providing a special purpose vibration detecting means.
