Hot air heater for power and heat generation

The heater includes a thermoelectric generator (4) with semiconductor elements (5) exposed on the hot side to flue gas (6) from the heating face (3). Cooling water is applied to their cold side, whose circulation for cooling is effected by a circulation pump (7) and a cooler (8), using ambient air (9). Thus, in addition to hot air (10), the air heater supplies also electric energy at the terminals (11) of the thermoelectric generator which can be used via a control system (12) for direct drive of the fan (2) and pump, or for battery (13) charging and supplying other consumer appliances (14).
