SUBSTITUTED AMINOMETHYLPHENYLSULPHONYLUREAS, THEIR PREPARATION, AND THEIR USE AS HERBICIDES AND PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS

Compounds of the formula (I) and their salts, in which R1 to R7 and A are as defined in claim 1 and especially R5 is an acyl radical or NR4R5 together are a heterocyclic radical, are suitable as herbicides and plant growth regulators. They may be produced by processes similar to prior-art ones with the use of novel intermediate products of the formulae (II), (IV), (VI) or (VII) (cf. claim 5).
