PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device by which an image with high resolution is picked up at a low cost easily at a high speed. SOLUTION: A distribution means 4 uniformly distributes a light from an image pickup object area 41 collected by a lens 42. Each CCD 44 arranged in an image forming face 45 receives lights from different parts. The light received by each CCD 44 is converted into an electric signal and it is outputted as a video signal.
