PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic exposure adjusting device and its method where the control signal of low noise and high quality is supplied from a detector. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural detectors 1a, 1b and 1c arranged on the back side of an image receiving body at specified intervals and measuring the intensity of incident radioactive rays on the image receiving body, an adjusting means 3 adjusting a variable affecting the exposure of the image receiving body while photographing and a controller 2 controlling the adjusting means 3. The controller 2 is provided with an integrating device directly connected to the outputs of the detectors 1a, 1b and 1c, plural measuring channels provided corresponding to the detectors 1a, 1b and 1c, a storage means storing the reference value of the exposure of the image receiving body and an arithmetic device calculating a compared result supplied to the adjusting means 3 by comparing each integrated value obtained from a different measuring channel 24 with an exposure value previously stored at the inside of the storing means. The integration intervals of the detectors 1a, 1b and 1c are made sufficiently shorter than a total photographing period. |
