PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the copy image of high quality by performing accurate automatic exposure control by obtaining a control table appropriately corresponding to a copying machine or an exposure lamp. SOLUTION: This device possesses the exposure lamp 21, an exposure lamp regulator 41, a photodetector 43A and a density detection circuit 43B, the control table TC storing the control data of emitted light quantity corresponding to the various kinds of the values of density data and a CPU 40 reading the control data corresponding to the density data of an original from the control table TC and controlling the emitted light quantity of the exposure lamp 21. Then, a reference density plate 13 where irradiation by the exposure lamp 21 is made possible is provided, and the emitted light quantity of the exposure lamp 21 is changed at a position where the reference density plate 13 is irradiated by the exposure lamp 21, and the control table TC is prepared based on the emitted light quantity and the density data at this time, so that emitted light quantity control is performed by the CPU 40 using the control table TC prepared. |
