PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform conversion between marked-up document data based upon different markup rules. SOLUTION: When one of key words listed in a key word input selection area 62 is selected, the file name of the intention data ID corresponding to it is displayed in an intention data base selection area 61. When the file name is then selected, the intention indicating the intention data is displayed in an area 63. In a marked-up document data display selection area 60, marked-up document data MD1 are displayed. Then the marks of the marked-up document data MD1 and respective elements of intentions to mark up are made to correspond to each other. Thus, the relation between the intentions and marks is stored as correspondence intention data TD on a hard disk. When the marked-up document data MD are converted into document data based upon a different markup rule, the marks are converted by referring to the correspondence intention data TD. |
