PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens in which the number of the constituting lens is small, and chromatic aberration is corrected well. SOLUTION: This lens is constituted of two single lenses L1 and L2 in order from an object side, and constituted of a first group Gr1 having positive refracting power as a whole, and a second group Gr2 constituted of a negative lens L3. In the case of zooming from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, an interval between the first group Grl and the second group Gr2 becomes small, and the conditional expression of M21<1.55, andθ21>55 are satisfied. Provided that N21 is the refractive index of the (d) line of the negative lens in the second group andθ21 is the Abbe number of the negative lens in the second group.
