PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable recording material which does not color in a manufacturing process and records an image of extremely high quality. SOLUTION: A basic colorless dye and a developer which does not have a color developing activity at an ordinary temperature but has the color developing activity when heated (preferably, an ester sulfonate derivative) are packed in one microcapsule. In addition, a heat sensitive coloring layer comprising the microcapsule is formed on a support. |
