<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment, in which zinc content in recovered dust is concentrated to about >=50% and iron in zinc-containing dust can be recovered as molten iron by reducing vaporizing and recovering zinc oxide in the zinc- containing dust, and an operational method. SOLUTION: The equipment adds the dust discharged from a metal refining furnace and mainly containing FeO, Fe2 O3 , ZnO, carbon-aceous material and slag-making agent into a furnace body from a raw material charging hole and blows oxygen and/or oxygen-enriched gas into the furnace body to recover the zinc in the dust. In the case, the horizontal cross section of the further body is a rectangular shape and a lower tuyere 13 is penetrated to the side surface of the furnace body 1 in the horizontal direction and arranged toward slag. One raw material charging hole 5 is arranged at one side end part in the long side direction on the upper surface of the furnace body, and a discharging hole 6 of combustible gas discharged from the furnace body is arranged at the other one side in the long side direction on the upper surface of the furnace body.</p> |
