A method of playing a ball game is disclosed wherein two opposed teams play within an enclosed area in which the width is greater than the length. A goal is scored by placing the ball into a recessed area (24) behind the goal line (22). An offensive player may not stay within a two second box (30) located about the goal mouth. Any player engaging in rough play shall sit out for a designated time period, and his or her team shall play a man down during that time.
