PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink capable of obtaining a coating film having a metallic luster close to the conventional golden colored ink and useful for a global environmental measure, by mixing and dispersing a golden colored powder prepared by mixing and covering the golden colored powder with a specific surfactant. SOLUTION: This golden colored powder for an aqueous ink is obtained by mixing and coating (A) 100 pts.wt. platelet-shaped brass metal powder having 5-40μm mean particle diameter and treated with a fatty acid with (B) 0.2-4 pts.wt. nonionic surfactant having 9-12 HLB value. Further, it is preferable that as the component (B), e.g. an adduct of nonylphenol with ethylene oxide is used, and that as the mixing and coating method, a mechanical agitation by using a mixer, etc., is used. |
